Naudé Rademan
Chief Executive Officer
Naudé Rademan, one of the founders of Linebooker, has been steering the ship as our Chief Executive Officer since March 2019. Before joining Linebooker, Naudé held several senior positions within the logistics and supply chain industry. Notably, he served as the Managing Director of Commercial Cold Storage (CCS), a division of the Oceana Group, and was an integral part of the Oceana Group’s Executive team. Naudé’s career also includes roles such as General Manager and Logistics Manager at Vector Logistics. His dedication to the industry led to his appointment to the Board of Directors for the Global Cold Chain Alliance, based in the USA. Naudé holds a B.Comm in Economics & Logistics from the University of Stellenbosch.
Nick Hoffman
Chief Operating Officer
Nick Hoffman, another Linebooker founder, brings over two decades of experience in the South African logistics and supply chain sector. His journey includes positions such as Logistics Services Manager at Commercial Cold Storage (CCS) Logistics (Oceana Group) and Supply Chain Manager at Rialto Foods. Nick’s remarkable career also encompasses an extensive tenure at Vector Logistics, where he held various leadership roles.
Julius Schoeman
Chief Financial Officer
Julius Schoeman, our Chief Financial Officer, began his career at Rolls-Royce in London, UK, as a Management Accountant and Group Financial Accountant. Upon returning to South Africa, he took up a pivotal role as Business Development and Planning Manager, with a strategic focus, at Phillip Morris. Julius holds a B.Comm (Hons) in Management Accounting from the University of Stellenbosch.
Hugo Derksen
Managing Director
Hugo Derksen, appointed as the Managing Director of Linebooker in February 2020, has an impressive background in FMCG and Chemical Logistics and Supply Chain industries. His career highlights include being the Head of Logistics and Supply Chain in Africa for BASF, the world’s largest chemical company, where his team was awarded the BASF Global Supply Chain award for Innovation. Hugo has also held roles such as Regional Operations Manager, Logistics Manager, and Business Improvement Manager at Vector Logistics, which is part of the RCL Group. He holds a B.Comm (Hons) in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the University of Stellenbosch.
Ruan van der Merwe
General Manager
Ruan van der Merwe, our General Manager, joined Linebooker in September 2020. Before becoming a part of our team, Ruan held several managerial positions within the logistics industry. His extensive experience extends to road transport and logistics environments in South Africa and Africa. His journey includes being the Operations Manager at Imperial Logistics and playing a pivotal role as part of a Greenfields team that established a logistics solution in West Africa, specifically Nigeria.
Hendrik van der Walt
Chief Technology Officer
Driving the technology front at Linebooker since September 2019, Hendrik van der Walt took on the role of Chief Technology Officer in January 2021. Throughout his career, Hendrik has been actively engaged in software development across various industries, including gaming, telecoms, and education. He holds a National Certificate in data matrix from UNISA.
Stanley Robertson
General Manager
Stanley brings over 15 years of experience to our team, making him a distinguished professional in the logistics industry. Stanley holds an B.Comm (Hons) degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, earned from the University of Stellenbosch. His commitment to continuous improvement is evident through his certifications in CPIM and CLTD from SAPICS, which have further enriched his skill set.
Having honed his expertise at leading logistics companies, his approach is marked by hands-on dedication and an unwavering commitment to delivering precise and effective customer solutions.

Our majority ownership lies with African Rainbow Capital, chaired by the esteemed Dr. Patrice Motsepe, who also co-chairs African Rainbow Minerals.
